Lau Music Academy was founded wiht a simple vision: to provide high-quality, personalised music education in a supportive and inspiring environment where every student can thrive.
With over 10 years of teaching experience, we specialise in helping children and adults build confidence, strong musical foundations, and a lifelong enjoyment of music. Lessons are carefully tailored to each individual, whether the goal is learning for enjoyment, preparing for exams, or developing performance skills.
The academy is led by an experienced music educator with professional tra ining from leading UK Conservatoires and a strong background in both performance and teaching. Over the years, studnets have successfully prepared for ABRSM and Trinity examinations, performances, and peronal musical milestones.
The founder has also taught in respected independent schools including Thomas's Clapham and Rupert House School, bringing extensive experience working with young musicians in both private education and specialist teaching environments.
Teaching combines tructured technical development with creativity, ensuring students not only progress but also enjoy the learning process. Every learner is different and lesson are adapted to suit individual goals, pace, and interests.
We believe music education should be:
Encouraging and confidence-building
Structured with clear progress pathways
Enjoyable and motivating
Adapted to each individual's learning style
Focused on both technique and musical expression
By creating a positive learning environment, students develop discipline, resilience, and a genuine love for music that extends beyond lessons.
At Lau Music Academy, we aim to create more than just lessons. Students are encouraged to grow musically and personally through performance opportunities, goal-setting, and a nurturing atmosphere where progrss is celebrated.
We welcome students of all ages and abilities and look forward to supporting each musical journey.
